My interest in design began where I was born in Damascus, Syria, a city of ancient and exquisite architecture, and eventually evolved towards the world of interior design.   My professional goal as an Interior Designer is to merge the practicality of sustainable materials with the healing influence of nature, providing  spaces that benefit both the environment and people who inhabit them. While I am open to a wide range of career options, my long range professional focus is to specialize in retail, health care ,office and hospitality design. Regardless of the field in which I work, human centric principles will be at the heart of my designs.

Design for me is seeing the bigger image ahead of the details of the design. 

My personal interests include art, writing and photography which all have influenced the creation of my designs. And my designs contain these influences and have a creative impact on every area of our physical and virtual environments.
